Test erythrocytes for the identification of red cell antibodies. Reagent Biotestcell-I 8 and Biotestcell-I 11 are test erythrocytes with polyvalent antigens. The test cells have the following antigens: D, C, Cw, E, c, e, K, k, Fya, Fyb, Lua, Lub, Jka, Jkb, Jsb, M, N, S, s, Lea, Leb, P1, Xga, Coa. Biotestcell-I 11 can also be used to identify antibodies against Dia, Kpa and Jsa. The precise antigen profile of a batch is shown on a data sheet enclosed in the pack. Biotestcell-I 8 and Biotestcell-I 11 are also suitable for preparation with enzymes (papain, ficin, bromelin, trypsin etc.) or with supplements (albumin, LISS). The usable life of test erythrocytes treated with enzymes can be found in the user instructions for the enzyme used. Biotestcell-I 8 and Biotestcell-I 11 are suspended in modified Alsevers solution in a concentration of approximately 3% and can be used immediately after careful resuspension. Properties Biotestcell-I 8 and Biotestcell-I 11 are used for the precise identification of irregular antibodies previously detected in an antibody search test with Biotestcell-P1, P2 or Biotestcell-P3. Biotestcell-I 8 and Biotestcell-I 11 are used in tube tests or in the Solidscreen II solid phase test and are suitable for all routine testing purposes.
